Don Alberto started his restaurant business in his own back yard. Sunday afternoons, he would cook a variety of traditional Mexican food and would sell to family and friends. Customers came in regularly for a taste of Albertillo’s “cena.” During the week, he would stock up a shopping cart with homemade tamales, gorditas, and chorizo and would head out to nearby neighborhoods where people waited for his food, his stories and contagious laughter.
In 1992, he opened his first restaurant which rapidly became very popular throughout the city of Santa Ana. His cheerfulness and unique personality made his customers feel at home. In fact, most of his best costumers traveled quiet a distance from surrounding cities to visit him and enjoy his recipes!
To this day, they strive to keep their father’s legacy alive by giving you great customer service and by offering a wide selection of those great recipes he left behind. Taqueria Zamora is known for the best hand-made tortillas and for the most authentic Mexican food in town. Task:
Taqueria Zamora engaged Pulse Solutions to build a website that reflects the traditional Mexican culture and hospitability but cutting edge in terms of online ordering, reservations and all the other bells and whistles a modern restaurant website needs. The owner explicitly required the user experience to be seamless and enjoyable.
Solution:
Pulse built a custom layout with mouth-watering gastronomic delights against a delicious green-colored background. The site is inspired by the actual restaurant menu and uses traditional Mexican colors with pictures of actual menu items.
Online ordering system is linked right into the site. Every item on the menu has options for multiple images, options and special instructions. Online ordering is simple, easy and enjoyable.
In addition to the website we created a bridge to the restaurant POS – Aldelo; this means the order is automatically printed in the kitchen within seconds of being posted online. This is one of the first in the industry making Taqueria Zamora’s process one of the most efficiently devised.
