We Deliver A Combination of Expertise & Experience.

Pulse has been building eCommerce systems since the year 2000. We have pioneered several facets of modern eCommerce that are commonplace now. As the industry matured, we’ve kept up with the pace to become one of the leading eCommerce developers in the United States.

Ecommerce Programming

Often off the shelf software or open-source systems simply do not fit the bill. We program these systems from the ground up using prebuilt libraries that help cut costs and the time required to go live. We work in both the Microsoft Azure and the Amazon AWS ecosystems.

Woo Commerce

Woo Commerce is a WordPress extension that has become very popular due to the simplicity, extensibility and availability of 100s of professional themes. We use Woo commerce for many stores that are part of a WordPress site. Woo commerce is often the most logical choice for new merchants building their first eCommerce site.

Shopify

Many merchants simply want to start selling immediately without the need for a lot of customization or integration. For this, Shopify works great. We use Shopify when we need to start selling within a week. This great platform has everything prebuilt and if the customer can sustain the higher transaction fees this becomes the logical choice.

Magento

Traditionally, Magento has held a very important space as the leader in open source eCommerce technology that is mature and works off the shelf for most merchants. We use Magento extensively and have been one of the first to adopt Magento 2.2.

Ecommerce has become a symbol of business success, and a majority of customers take it for granted that most merchants and brand labels today will have an online site to receive product orders. Pulse Solutions has an enviable record of building successful storefronts online for both new merchants and well-established companies.

As more and more people feel comfortable using their mobile devices for ordering products online, Mobile Commerce has become of paramount importance. Our E-commerce strategy is designed to give our clients a faultless interaction on all popular devices that are Apple, Android, PC and Linux based.

Our Ecommerce systems employ the easiest possible path to checkout to ensure the user is always at ease while placing the order. This includes choosing the right payment gateway and security strategy for peace of mind.

Many E-commerce systems require manual entry of transactions into bookkeeping, ERP, CRM or other various legacy systems. Pulse has eliminated this through our integration modules that effortlessly syncs eCommerce orders, customers and transactions with several popular systems.

Because we have a broad range of services to offer, we can supply professional, cost-effective solutions for the specific needs of our customers over a variety of platforms. We work with small individual boutique stores as well as larger multi-million dollar systems. This experience gives us a unique vantage point when it comes to eCommerce strategy.

As we pursue our work in systems development, we have grown knowledgeable in the following technologies that are used to achieve appropriate results for our clients and their special needs. We often use combinations of these programming platforms when working towards successful solutions.

Methodology

Our eCommerce website methodology has evolved over 100s of projects across the world. This methodology is mature and proven to be successful.

Analysis

After a thorough study of your specific business needs, our Sales and Marketing team will work together with you to review your business requirements, execute an analysis of your competitors, explore technology options, and then will recommend what will be needed to best fulfill your business needs. This phase presents findings that include recommended features, order flow and guidance on overall site structure.

Design

Our UI designers review the site analysis document and create storyboards for the complete system starting from the home page. The storyboard pays special attention to product presentation, checkout process and access to support. At this stage, you begin to see what your eCommerce site will look like. This is the best time to suggest changes to the system as this stage can accommodate any and every change needed.

Design Integration

The final storyboard is now converted to responsive cross-device and platform compliant HTML skin depending on the eCommerce platform suggested. This phase is very important as the HTML delivered will dictate how the site works, by ensuring the HTML is fully compliant with web standards. We speed up the process and avoid expensive mistakes.

Programming and Database Creation

In this stage of the project, coding of all the processes is done and the backend database management tools are created. Here is where all the mock-ups are changed into real dynamic database-driven pages. Our programmers follow the guidelines that have been established in all of the previous steps, so their job is now much easier and goes quicker.  This is one of the reasons behind our  excellent cost-effectiveness and our higher quality.

Payment Gateway Integration

We can support all major payment gateways, including Secure Trading, Worldpay, Paypal and Paypal Pro, Sagepay, Google Checkout, Authorize.Net and others. We can assist you in setting up your payment gateway account with whichever gateway you choose to use, by using a 256-bit encrypted data channel.

Systems Integration

Pulse offers automated bookkeeping software and ERP integration that will work well with several other systems, like Sage, Quickbooks, SAP, and Visual Manufacturing.  POS systems are provided to take care of a variety of tasks such as inventory management, invoicing, payroll, and even a few aspects of Customer Relationship Management. Full integration of these systems has the advantage of protecting your system from the errors that usually occur with manual data transfer and entries.

Quality Check

Before we make your site live, our quality assurance engineers will put your system through a meticulous set of rules that includes usability and performance criteria. Final adjustments are made that prepare for a formal QC sign off and then your site is ready for live hosting.

Importing Your Products

Your products can be seamlessly imported into the E-commerce system whenever needed. This can be done through the admin backend or by emailing us and asking us to set this up during the development stages at no additional cost. Customized imports and data migration from external systems can be handled through the tailored upgrades category.

Cloud Deployment

Pulse Solutions has good working relations with many PCI compliant web hosting companies, allowing you to choose the hosting company you want. Following your selection, we will set up your account and upload your website to go live. During this process, your domain name will be moved from your registrar.

Search Engine Optimization

Our highly skilled SEO specialists will make specialized Meta tag rules for your products so you can actively compete against other businesses in your industry category. You will receive a free listing with Google and Google Products, with Yahoo, and with Bing (which used to be MSN Live).  The inbuilt Google submission tools will automate your weekly listing of all your sites products with all-important Google Products. A Google Analytics account will be set up for you and you will get a weekly email reporting on your site’s activity stats.

Training

Pulse will continue to provide you with support and training after your site is live. If your site has a full-featured backend, you will be able to modify any and all aspects of your system as you wish.  The interface is very intuitive and quite easy to use and fully understand. The Pulse consultants will guide you through the various features and give you appropriate training to empower you to do both basic and advanced adaptations to your shopping cart.
