UJustSave.com - Win-Win for Customers and Local Stores

The Task
www.ujustsave.com is a financial services website which offers a cheque back to customers who purchase services via the site. The website is supported by a network of independent convenience stores and local retailers. A unique aspect of the site is that users can opt to receive a higher value cheque back to spend at one of these participating retailers. As well as the key cheque back services the site offers insurance comparison, discount vouchers and special offers from major retailers. The client required a distinctive website design that clearly explained the services and cheque back offer. There needed to be a straightforward process for visitors to request financial services information and a comprehensive administration system to enable tracking of service requests and cheque back payments.
The Solution
We developed two websites to support the business using PHP and MySQL. www.ujustsave.com presents the financial services and captures customer data through structured forms. Visitors are able to search for retailers and view retailer profiles.
The insurance comparison service and discount vouchers are supplied by 3rd parties and are integrated with the site through the use of iframes. Additional revenue from the site is generated by the inclusion of affiliate marketing.
www.ujustsave-business.co.uk is the partner site which sets out the process for retailers. Here retailers can apply join the scheme. Once retailers are accepted they can login from here to manage their profiles and track commission payments. Retailers are able to use their profiles to promote their own special offers and also have the option to include local advertising within the profile as an extension to the window advertising many of them already carry.
A custom administration panel was developed to provide easy management of all aspects of the site activities. From the dashboard administrators are able to approve retailer applications, monitor service requests, create reports for service providers and track cheque back payments.
